About LeJeune

 LeJeune has over 20 years of experience in fashion and is foundeer of Fashion Week Alabama, now Fashion Week Alabama in  Huntsville LLC.

 For the past 12 years, the designer has developed and created designer concepts and pieces for ladies sizes 2-18.  Coining her very own title "Conceptual Fashion Designer", LeJeune has marketed her line of clothing by holding private fashion previews for existing and new customers, and through trade shows and expos.  LeJeune's experience also includes event coordination, marketing and public relations, which she continues to use in on-going outreach efforts in the Huntsville and Madison communities.

 The signature qualities and elements of the LeJeune collection are basic, sophisticated and classic.  When creating garments, the designer is inspired and influenced by other cultures and fashions from the past.   The designer uses the flat pattern method when designing or redsigning items for her collections, using existing patterns to help develop her design concepts.

 LeJeune is the founder of various creative initiatives, such as Fashion Week Alabama, the Creative Business
Alliance, and the Huntsville Council of Fashion Designers. 

 LeJeune is also founder/director of the fund-raising fashion show, Designers Against Breast Cancer, which had its run from 1996-2006.  The all-volunteer effort raised $11,000 for the Huntsville/Madison County American Cancer Society.
